Our group is interested in synthesis, crystal and electronic structure, and properties of solid state supramolecular and cluster compounds. Main objects of the investigation include supramolecular ensembles based on the mercury/pnictogen frameworks, tin clathrates, complex polypnictides and pnictide-halides, and heteroclusters containing main-group elements. The emphasis is made to the developing of the synthetic routes to the new phases, establishing the interrelationships between crystal and electronic structures, and revealing properties towards the new materials.
