Professional Experience

1-year experience in the field of surface science (XPS) on the VG-Scientific equipment (ESCALAB series). This includes the following procedures: surface treatment (vacuum cleavage, chemical and chemical-mechanical polishing, Ar-sputtering, vacuum annealing), spectra recording, mathematical treatment, data interpretation in terms of different models. Certain experience in the application of synchrotron radiation to the surface studies.

1-year experience in the field of quantum chemical calculations. Basic knowledge of semiempirical calculation approaches (PM3).

Certain experience in phase diagrams research (samples synthesis and analysis) and crystal growth (VLS technique).

Advanced knowledge of English (Cambridge Advanced English certificate, A-mark).
